Arthrosamid® Knee Injections
Long-lasting, proven pain relief for knee osteoarthritis — without surgery
Arthrosamid® is a cutting-edge injectable hydrogel that delivers long-lasting, proven pain relief for knee OA, improving your quality of life without surgery.
Arthrosamid® combines with the tissue lining your knee joint, thickening it to provide a barrier — reducing your osteoarthritis pain. It is a simple, one-step, same-day procedure performed by our doctor.
We have lots of information on this page for you. However, please feel free to call to speak to our team, or book an initial assessment with Dr Elgerray.
You do not need to know which type of injection you would like to have prior to your assessment.
What is Arthrosamid?
Arthrosamid® is the first and only approved injectable treatment that permanently combines with the knee’s synovial tissue — decreasing joint stiffness, diminishing pain, improving the function of the knee, and enhancing your quality of life.
Based on an innovative non-biodegradable hydrogel technology, Arthrosamid® is 2.5% cross-linked polyacrylamide and 97.5% water.
Approved for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis, Arthrosamid® is suitable, safe and effective for most patients with the condition.
The medical description of Arthrosamid® is an 'injectable polyacrylamide hydrogel' or '2.5% iPAAG'.
